One year ago, Immortal was an idea rooted in faith, obedience, and a deep sense of calling. We stepped forward not knowing exactly how things would unfold — only trusting that God was guiding each step. What we couldn’t have imagined was how faithfully He would show up through the people, the moments, and the community that now fills this space.
As we approach our one-year anniversary on January 6th, we are overwhelmed with gratitude — not just for what has been built, but for how it has been built.
The Vision God Placed on Our Hearts
From the very beginning, Immortal was never meant to be just a gym. We felt called to create a place where people could grow stronger — physically, mentally, and in confidence — while feeling genuinely supported and seen. A place where consistency mattered more than perfection and where families could witness what commitment, resilience, and faith in the process look like.
We wanted Immortal to be a space where people felt safe to try something new, even if they were nervous walking through the doors. One member shared, “It’s a CrossFit-type program which I was nervous about at first due to injury concerns. Those concerns were quickly put to rest as all of the coaches I’ve trained with are very observant and quick to accommodate alternate exercises.”
That reassurance — that you are cared for and never left to figure it out alone — has always been part of the mission.
The Year That Shaped Us
This year taught us that growth rarely looks the way we expect it to. It came in early mornings, late nights, hard conversations, and countless small wins that often went unseen. It came in members choosing to show up on days they didn’t feel like it — and in trusting the process when progress felt slow.
There were moments of exhaustion, uncertainty, and learning — and in every one of those moments, God was faithful.
As one member jokes, “I don’t like it very much after burpees, but I still keep coming back so that must say something!”
That commitment — even when it’s uncomfortable — is where transformation happens.
A Space Built With Purpose and Intention
Every detail of Immortal was built with intention, prayer, and purpose — not to impress, but to serve. From the layout of the gym to the way our coaches interact with members, our goal has always been to create an environment where people feel welcome and supported from day one.
A newer member shared, “The facility is spotless, the equipment is modern, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff makes a real effort to learn your name and goals.”
That culture didn’t happen by accident. It was built by people who care deeply — and by God opening the right doors at the right time.
Meeting People Where They Are
One of the greatest gifts of this year has been watching people discover strength they didn’t believe they had.
“I was not an athlete growing up and now in my mid-thirties I have found a community and gym where any level of fitness is encouraged to come and grow,” one member wrote.
Another shared, “As someone that’s older and afraid of injury, I am so impressed with the coaches’ ability to cater to each individual’s needs.”
Those stories remind us that fitness isn’t about comparison — it’s about stewardship of the body God has given us, and honoring where each person is in their journey.
Strength That Goes Beyond the Physical
What we’ve witnessed this year goes far beyond physical results. We’ve seen confidence rebuilt. Habits formed. Mindsets shift. People begin to believe in themselves again.
One review captured it beautifully:
“The focus on personal goals and intentional movement sets them apart. You leave feeling stronger, both mentally and physically.”
That kind of strength — the kind that carries into everyday life — is what we pray for every person who walks through our doors.
Gratitude for This Community
We are deeply grateful for every member, coach, family, and supporter who has been part of this journey. For the parents choosing to invest in their health while raising their kids. For the members trusting us through injuries, busy seasons, and life changes. For the kids who watch their parents show up consistently.
As one parent shared, “I look forward to the workouts and my daughter loves the childcare area they provide. A win/win for both of us.”
We see God’s hand in the way this community has come together — and we don’t take that lightly.
Looking Ahead With Faith
If year one was about building the foundation, year two is about continuing to walk faithfully into what God has planned. We don’t have every detail mapped out — but we trust the direction.
We are committed to growing with intention, serving with humility, and protecting the culture that makes Immortal what it is. Above all, we are committed to honoring God in how we lead, how we coach, and how we care for this community.
Come Celebrate With Us
As we celebrate one year of Immortal, we want to do what we love most — bring people together.
Join us on January 10th for a free community workout as we celebrate our first anniversary. We’ll have workouts for adults, kids workouts, vendors, and food trucks, and we’d love for you to be part of it — whether you’re a longtime member, a friend of a member, or someone curious about what Immortal is all about.
This celebration is about more than fitness. It’s about community, gratitude, and honoring what God has built through all of us over the past year.
Thank you for showing up, trusting the process, and being part of this journey. We are so grateful for where we’ve been — and excited for where God is leading us next.
This is only the beginning.
